[2,885 of 4,126] - 25,290 points - Working on Back From the Beyond

9/14/22 - I started the day off working on the Necrolords campaign and gathering souls in the Maw. I believe I need the sanctum upgraded to level 5 so I'll need a whole lot of souls.

[Re-Re-Re-Renown]!

Aerial Advantage quest sucks. Totally not clear how the hook works. "invalid target"

Finally, an interesting quest - being a skeletal hand to escape from a jail cell!

[Dead Men Tell Some Tales]! This one snuck up on me - I was at 6 of 9 and then quickly it was over. Glad that grind is done :)

9/16/22 - Halls of Atonement for both rep and for Malleable Flesh (got 3)

Korthia and ZM for the weekly plus anima for Necrolords

Halls of atonement x2

9/17/22 - Theatre of Pain for a quest. Got the anima I needed to upgrade the abomination stitching yard to level 2.

Ember Court is next. I picked up the Ember Court ambassador quest which requires me to do four world quests in each area to get the ambassador upgrade. Since The World Awaits is this week's weekly quest, now seems like a good time to get it done :)

Mark of Purity toy!

9/18/22 - Ember Court

[Be Our Guest]!

Infested Arachnid Casing toy - first attempt!

9/19/22 - Working on Walking in Maw-phis

[It's About Sending a Message]!

[Synthe-fived] and [From A to Zereth]!

Current status of Back From the Beyond:

Fake it 'Till You Make It - Incomplete. I need a competent group for this.

Many, Many Things - barely started. Soloable.

Myths of the Shadowlands Dungeons - just need Tazavesh. Tried but failed. Waiting on friends.

On the Offfensive - 2/3 Sly Fox. Rest are just waiting on the assault to be up. Need to check regularly.

Shadowlands Dilettante - Be Our Guest is done, Pursuing Loyalty is soloable. Mush Appreciated is something I need to figure out, since it takes a month so I need to do it daily. The Necrolord one is going to take forever. Main thing I need right now is to get Malleable Flesh from somewhere - the dungeons that were suggested don't work.

Tower Ranger - I need to do everything here except Twisting Corridors

Walking in Maw-mphis - Just missing some rares for Better to Be Lucky Than Dead and two hunts for Hunting Party

Remember to Share (300 Toys)!

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. On top of that, the distance indicator shows when you are in the correct range from your ...

Beta update - best achievement EVER!

It probably won't make it to live. But check out this feat of strength from the beta:

A Song of Wind and Water

I've been working on Oracles and Ogri'la rep every day and have about four days to go. One thing I've noticed about these older daily quests is that there is little provision for high-level players that one-shot everything. Two quests in particular stand out as being annoying until you learn the high-level trick. The first is Banish More Demons in Blade's Edge. This involves placing a portal on the ground then killing demons within a few feet of the portal. The portal has a one-minute cooldown and you need fifteen demons. It was a slow exercise in frustration because kiting further-away demons was difficult sue to all my abilities one-shotting them before they got near. In the end, I learned to use the Shaman's "Purge" ability to aggro mobs without killing them and pull them close to the portal. The second, and more annoying, quest that isn't scaled for high-level players is the Ogri-la's Song of Wind and Water .  This involves weakening ...
