[3,445 of 5,450] You Know How to Reach Me

7/3/24: [Neltharion's Legacy] and [Legend of the Multiverse]!

I picked this up from the weekly time vault.

[Scroll Hunter]! This one I am happy to be done with. I thought it was going to be a lot harder - wowhead comments imply as much. In the end it probably took two hours of farming Froststone Vault with crystals.

[Treasures of Thaldraszus]!

7/8/24: [Treasures of the Azure Span]!

[Wake Me Up]! [Treasure Hunter of the Dragon Isles]! [Treasures of the Waking Shores]!

I have no more treasures to find! This one promised to be a slog but actually was easy enough, I just picked up Disturbed Dirt and Expedition Packs while doing other things like hunts.

7/9/24: [Forbidden Spoils]!

7/11/24: [Hunt Master]! I finally figured out how hunts work and realized that they don't show up until you are actually in the zone. As a result I can finally work on [Disgruntled Hunter]

[Under the Weather]! I just logged in every two hours and got all three I was missing in a row!

7/13/24: I've been working on Lunkers and Disgruntled Hunter. There was a hotfix two weeks ago that deleted most of my lunkers. I just need two more to finish the achievement. Disgruntled Hunter is almost done as well - now that I understand the hunts are always up, it's much simpler.

[Obsidian Keymaster] and [Flight Club]! The key farm only took an hour for 13 more keys.

[We're Going to Need a Bigger Harpoon] and [Army of the Fed]!

[The Disgruntled Hunter]!

7/18/24: [Renewed Proto-Drake Tail Feathers]! I'm just working on doing hunts to get my last color for [Tetrachromamancer] and I got two manuscripts while doing them.

7/20/24: [Treasures of the Forbidden Reach]! I'm glad this one is done. Trying to find Irontide Stash took quite a while.

7/27/24: [Adventurer of the Ohn'aran Plains]! This took a weakaura and a lot of waiting around but it's finally done with.

[Yaungolian Barbeque] from timerunning :)

7/28/24: [You Know How to Reach Me]]! FINALLY! The main things I was missing were the Loot Specialist and a few more small treasures. I finally found the Loot Specialist in one of the vaults while I was getting my last few treasures.

No screenshot because my addon was turned off :(

Remember to Share (300 Toys)!

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. On top of that, the distance indicator shows when you are in the correct range from your ...

Beta update - best achievement EVER!

It probably won't make it to live. But check out this feat of strength from the beta:

A Song of Wind and Water

I've been working on Oracles and Ogri'la rep every day and have about four days to go. One thing I've noticed about these older daily quests is that there is little provision for high-level players that one-shot everything. Two quests in particular stand out as being annoying until you learn the high-level trick. The first is Banish More Demons in Blade's Edge. This involves placing a portal on the ground then killing demons within a few feet of the portal. The portal has a one-minute cooldown and you need fifteen demons. It was a slow exercise in frustration because kiting further-away demons was difficult sue to all my abilities one-shotting them before they got near. In the end, I learned to use the Shaman's "Purge" ability to aggro mobs without killing them and pull them close to the portal. The second, and more annoying, quest that isn't scaled for high-level players is the Ogri-la's Song of Wind and Water .  This involves weakening ...
