[2,879 of 4,126] - 25,220 points - Night Fae and random teleportation

9/5/22 - Raids and gear

9/6/22 - Korthia and another elite, then ZM, then two more LFR bosses for my third coin

9/7/22 - [Sojourner of Bastion]!

Ember Court and more quests for it

ZM. I got the toy and (better) the portal upgrade from the paragon chest! The portal upgrade is still pretty useful given the number of things in ZM I still have to do.

Zorthia dailies and the weekly.

Timewalking x5. Picked up a 30 ilevel improvement for my gloves, giving me 274 ilevel!

Night Fae after that.

The Starlight Amphitheatre was pretty awesome. Here is me as a "horse".

ZM to get some Anima

More night fae questing

And yet more

9/10/22 - DK Classic mount! This is a time-limited mount that you get for doing the WOLK Classic DK intro questline. It's amazing how much more difficult the game was back then simply due to a lack of good mapping. I honestly hated the experience.

9/11/22 - I found a Marzan group while trying to finish the weekly for ZM! [Dune Dominance]! This one achievement has taken MONTHS of checking to finally get!

Still working on the Night Fae campaign. Getting bored. Did Abhorrent Adversaries for the zone.

The picked up [Wild Hunting]! This one was easy - just follow the coordinates and kill the things.

Then I teleported to random locations with my engineering toys. I did several Squirrels... things then found myself in Pandaria in time for the Wanderer's festival. This only spawns at 9pm on a Sunday and I was just in time :) [Wanderers, Dreamers and You]! I got the battle pet too!

9/12/22 - I started the day by randomly porting myself to Zulzudar, hoping for a change of scenery. I quickly picked up [To All the Squirrels I Set Sail to See]!

Next, the random teleporter took me to Argus, where I picked up [...And Chew Mana Buns]! This was a quick but boring grind - I really don't want to do the 5000 demons one :/

A random portal to Pandaria saw me do another item in An Awfully Big Adventure, and then I hearthed to go do more of the Night Fae questline. (It really does seem too long when doing it all at once and needing to do all four covenants).

Later, I finished Night Fae and started on Maldraxxus. I got some more in right before server reset, including a couple of rares I still needed.

Remember to Share (300 Toys)!

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. On top of that, the distance indicator shows when you are in the correct range from your ...

Beta update - best achievement EVER!

It probably won't make it to live. But check out this feat of strength from the beta:

A Song of Wind and Water

I've been working on Oracles and Ogri'la rep every day and have about four days to go. One thing I've noticed about these older daily quests is that there is little provision for high-level players that one-shot everything. Two quests in particular stand out as being annoying until you learn the high-level trick. The first is Banish More Demons in Blade's Edge. This involves placing a portal on the ground then killing demons within a few feet of the portal. The portal has a one-minute cooldown and you need fifteen demons. It was a slow exercise in frustration because kiting further-away demons was difficult sue to all my abilities one-shotting them before they got near. In the end, I learned to use the Shaman's "Purge" ability to aggro mobs without killing them and pull them close to the portal. The second, and more annoying, quest that isn't scaled for high-level players is the Ogri-la's Song of Wind and Water .  This involves weakening ...
