8/1/22 - Nighttime. I'm still in Maldraxxus. I've been working on the Treasures achievement, while also doing anything else that comes my way.
8/2/22 - Tuesday. Servers at still down at 1pm. The initial guidance said 11am, then noon, then 1pm. They are clearly doing quite a big upgrade of something.
8/6/22 - Yesterday, I finished off the weekly for The Enlightened - I'm likely to get exalted next week. After that, I worked on the Ember Court and did some nearby world quests (parasol and dredger race) that I needed to do ten of to get an achievement.
Next, I took another crack at getting the "creeper" critter to /love for All the Squirrels... again and yet again I couldn't find it. It turns out, it's not actually called "creeper", despite the achievement text and I had to do "/tar murky" to tag it. This isn't the first (or second!) time I've had issues with these particular achievement types.
Anyway, to do the Ember Court properly, I need to change my guest list. To do THAT, I need rubies, which led me to the Halls of Atonement area in Revendreth again since there are a bunch of achievements and rep things I need to do there anyway, including several things relating to The Avowed reputation.
I have 1,700 Sinstone Fragments and I need to kill a bunch of inquisitors for [It's Always Sinny In Revendreth]
8/7/22 - I did four dungeon runs, then a quick LFR for the "fated" raid stuff. Now I'm working on the RSVP for Droman Aliothe. There is a lot of flying around for this one, so I'm planning on getting enough stuff to get eight of the required items.
I did the weekly ember court and did reasonably, although I was hard pressed to make it Decadent. Anyway, in the end I made it to Honored with the court and unlocked the Guardhouse, Stage Crew and Waiters as well as the Altar. I also picked up The Countess' parasol toy from the tribute.
I also picked up a couple of quests that will do things like extend the time I have to do the court by 3 minutes and an ambassador to replace an invitation for free each week.
Later, I finished up the Fated raids in LFR for the week. The rep boost is nice, as were the 265 iLevel boots that dropped.
8/8/22 - I spent some time in Bastion, for the first time in a long time. I needed to do three world quests there for the Ember Court quest I picked up at Honored. I need to do the same in all three other zones, but Bastion had two other sets of dailies that also required 3 world quests, so I did those first. I also finished off a few other quests in the area that were nearby.
Next, I headed back to Revendreth and finished up another couple of Ember Court quests that I'd missed previously. Turning in the dailies here gave me another toy too.
Ardenweald followed, both to do three world quests and to pick up Fresh Ardenweald Anima for another embber court quest. I also picked up a rare that I needed.
I keep finding new Embber Court quests - I picked up another two in Maldraxxus while doing two others.
8/9/22 - I picked up three Handcrafted Mirror Repair Kit from Simone in Sinffall and I'm about to go hunting for some broken mirrors with the hopes of eventually getting a mount for my troubles. See https://www.wowhead.com/item=181363/handcrafted-mirror-repair-kit#comments for details.
Next up, I headed to Darkmoon Faire and picked up [First Dance] and [You Got the Beat]
8/15/22 - I did a few quick tasks like ember court and a few Zereth Mortis dailies. I picked up a BoE that is apparently selling for 800k, so that was nice :)
8/16/22 - I picked up The Enlightened achievement (and a 285 wrist) by killing Antross. I also picked up the permanent Augment Rune and two mounts from Exalted.
8/18/22 - A quick LFR was all that I had time for.
8/19/22 - Working on the Ember Court tonight. I camped Blanchy for a bit but saw a group for the Alpaca in Uldum and got that instead. Day 1 of 7 for that :)
I did the Ember Court (The Countess group) and picked up [We Happy Few] for having four elated guests!
I'm working on The Avowed again. I totally forgot about Guild Battle Standards giving +15% rep!
8/21/22 - Another quick Halls run for Avowed rep and then I finally decided it was time to clear out my bank, reagent bank and bags. I have so much crap that I routinely cart around and I'm usually stuck with only a few bag slots total. The clutter led me to accidentally deleting a cloak I needed for my resto set, so it's clearly time for some spring cleaning.
The cleaning uncovered a couple of game bugs. The first was that my reagent bank button seemed to be broken. The second was that I couldn't buy severely underpriced Projenitor Essentia from the AH :(
I handed in my anima and dropped off some recipes to the Torghast dude and generally cleaned up everything - a huge relief overall.
8/23/22 - More Fated raids to get to the 30.
8/24/22 - I'm doing a few pet battles for the weekly and working on the Ember Court. One thing I'm insanely appreciative of is the ffact that I'm an engineer and get access to Wormhole Generator: Shadowlands with a mere 15 minute cooldown - it saves an absolutely enormous amount of time in aggregate.
After the Ember Court tributes came in, I found myself as the proud owner of a Gruesome Flayedwing mount! I'm also less than a thousand rep away from Revered - this is important as I'm still missing one or two options for security etc.
I also made progress on [Be Our Guest], [People Pleaser] and [It's Certainly Never Boring] plus some progress on a bunch of others.
Next up: another pet battle for the weekly and finishing off Shaping Fate for the week and doing more Fated raids.
