[3,115 of 4,646] A whole lot of random.

7/21/23: I started the day with some quests from the dragon hatchery and for Chromie. The Chromie one was fun - she turned me into a quest giver and had me hand out quests.

After that, I did the Tempo quests near Chromie and picked up a cosmetic shades in the process.

Next, I worked on the Daycare questline. I now have to wait until tomorrow before continuing.

lAfter that, I worked on Loamen Niffen rep to get the 1500 for the weekly. The first quest I did however was for a 405 bracer that I upgraded to 411.

(afternoon) I just learned that I can buy Vault keys for 50 Dragonscale Supplies each! [Every Door, Everywhere, All at Once] is mine!

I also picked up An Odd Round Object, which is an item I needed to continue the "story" questline from Voraxian (this is an achievement I was working on a few days ago).

7/22/23: I noticed that Old Hatreds' mob was no longer evade bugged and so finally finished that questline, getting [A New Beginning]!

Next up, Little Scales Daycare for the daily quests.

I then scrolled through the pet achievements and found there is a new 1600 pet achievement to work on (I'm at around 1450) and also ones for pet world quests, so I headed off to get one of those done.

One led into another and I ended up finishing three parts between two achievements.

I ended up at the Suffusion Camp next and decided to do the quests there and the weekly. I'm still confused by how it all works but there were enough people there to make the quests simple enough to complete. I'm still not sure how to get Fyakk to kill me however.

Lastly, I tried hunting for Adventurer rares to try and finish off one of those achievements. Not much luck though.

7/23/23: I found two Adventurer rares and picked up a Zenet Egg which supposedly hatches into a mount in a week!

I killed another rare soon after and then ran out of rares to check in the Plains.

Next up, a pet battle trainer that I needed for the "beat 8 trainers" achievement. And another one - 3 in one day!

Little Whelps Daycare was next for the daily quests. There is one "real" quest and two dailies - I'm not sure if the dailies count for anything as they give no rep.

I'm going to give the Time Rift another shot since it's almost noon. It worked out well and I got a new mount for 3000 tokens too.

It was only today that I learned I can use a flightmaster to fly to the Loamm Niffen area...

I have another pet quest to complete down here for the 4 pet quest achievement.

I started looking into Cavern Clawberring and realized I needed to kill every rare in the caverns while under a 10 minute buff that I can buy from the AH. I'm off to buy the buff...

I couldn't find any groups for the rares so I decided to work on the various X Battler of Zaralek Cavern achievements. First up: Aquatic.

I had to buy a level 25 upgrade stone (I had one in my bag) to get the team for this one.

7/24/23: I worked on some more pet battles on Explorer Bezzert but I quickly ran out of teams that I could use to complete the family battler achievements. I really need to level up more of my pets.

Next I did the daily for Briggul rep (the snail guy) and showed him some more level 25 snails to get extra rep. Right now I'm 400/700 and 3/5 so not too much longer with this one.

I'm going to try some of the other trainers for [Family Battler of Zaralek Cavern]

8/2/23: Working on the new adventure guide for the month. I'm really happy to see Spirit of Competition as one of the options for purchase - this was a pet that was basically impossible to get before.

[Sniffen Around] was something I picked up randomly after doing some digs.

[Stones Can Try To Fly!]] also came up somewhat randomly as I worked on the weekly.

Remember to Share (300 Toys)!

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. On top of that, the distance indicator shows when you are in the correct range from your ...

Beta update - best achievement EVER!

It probably won't make it to live. But check out this feat of strength from the beta:

A Song of Wind and Water

I've been working on Oracles and Ogri'la rep every day and have about four days to go. One thing I've noticed about these older daily quests is that there is little provision for high-level players that one-shot everything. Two quests in particular stand out as being annoying until you learn the high-level trick. The first is Banish More Demons in Blade's Edge. This involves placing a portal on the ground then killing demons within a few feet of the portal. The portal has a one-minute cooldown and you need fifteen demons. It was a slow exercise in frustration because kiting further-away demons was difficult sue to all my abilities one-shotting them before they got near. In the end, I learned to use the Shaman's "Purge" ability to aggro mobs without killing them and pull them close to the portal. The second, and more annoying, quest that isn't scaled for high-level players is the Ogri-la's Song of Wind and Water .  This involves weakening ...
