Secret Fish elude me, Nazjatar does not

I have all but three of the Secret Fish - I'm just missing a common one and the two that only spawn at night and only during the day. I tried farming this on a  floating island for a while but eventually got bored and decided I'll get it eventually just by grabbing them doing other stuff.

I did get Mrrl's Secret Stash after getting lucky with my Benthic cloak (first try!) and him having the mount in stock (first try again!).

Trove Tracker is finally complete as well, with the notorious "Arcane Chest #5" finally opening up after about ten attempts.

I took it upon myself to try to get the crafted engineering helmet as it's the best one for PVP, having the top Azerite powers. I then learned I needed to go farm 20, then 200 items from the Eternal Palace and so finally went and did LFR. I'm happy I finally got the "you killed all the bosses" achievements but I'm less happy that I only received ONE of the 220 items for each wing cleared. Apparently I need to do it on Heroic (or at least normal) to have any chance of getting enough of these things before the eventual heat death of the universe.

Rep-wise, I continue to run MC weekly with as many +rep buffs as I can manage. I need one more Firelands run to hit Exalted there and I'm VERY happy to learn that Only the Penitent is now possible with only TWO people! This achievement was notorious as it always had one player fuck it up for everyone else and was a pain in the ass to reset to try again. I need this one for the meta (and the mount) so here's hoping I can get it done over the weekend.

Finally, I'll get Emperor Shaohao done soon enough (I'm doing it slowly as I still need a ton of rare items from Timeless Isle) and I still have roughly two more Throne of Thunder runs to do before Exalted with them. The four reps I've mentioned will be enough to cause me to hit 100 reps.

Current focus: Nazjatar achievements as well as the slow grind on some long-running ones like 1000 Naval Missions and 1000 PVP pet battles with all level 25 pets (I'm at about 350/1000 there). I'm also trying to at least do a mythic key and some PVP for the weekly chests - having better gear is something I didn't realize I really need if I wasn't doing current-gen raiding, but it helps with even older content enormously.

Remember to Share (300 Toys)!

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. On top of that, the distance indicator shows when you are in the correct range from your ...

Beta update - best achievement EVER!

It probably won't make it to live. But check out this feat of strength from the beta:

A Song of Wind and Water

I've been working on Oracles and Ogri'la rep every day and have about four days to go. One thing I've noticed about these older daily quests is that there is little provision for high-level players that one-shot everything. Two quests in particular stand out as being annoying until you learn the high-level trick. The first is Banish More Demons in Blade's Edge. This involves placing a portal on the ground then killing demons within a few feet of the portal. The portal has a one-minute cooldown and you need fifteen demons. It was a slow exercise in frustration because kiting further-away demons was difficult sue to all my abilities one-shotting them before they got near. In the end, I learned to use the Shaman's "Purge" ability to aggro mobs without killing them and pull them close to the portal. The second, and more annoying, quest that isn't scaled for high-level players is the Ogri-la's Song of Wind and Water .  This involves weakening ...
