 9/16/23: 1500 Loamm rep.

9/17/23: PVP pet battles and the A Single Wing questline then the campaign questline that involves Chromie.

9/24/23: Started on An Awfully Big Adventure. 20 to go! I started with Blington 4000 in the celestial tournament, only to discover he wasn't up today.

10/23/23: Long break. I got bored of logging in and doing the weekly then stopping. Back at it today.

[Proof of Myrrit]]!

10/25/23: I worked on Hallows End achievements as well as the monthly. I also picked up the 1500 Loamenn rep quest for the week.

I also AFK picked up [Still Standing In the Fire]!

10/26/23: [Tricks and Treats of the Dragon Isles]!

10/27/23: I did the Headless Horseman with all four curses and picked up [Kickin' With the Wick]!

I also finished my monthly Adventure Guide quests and got the broomstick mount!

Next up: Rumble coins.

11/17/23: [Super Duper Bloom] and [Incarnate's Wake]! Also the rumble coins are bugged - I'm going to retry to see if I can get the last coin.

11/24/23: Did the 1500 rep and 3000 rep quests and [Molten Incursion]]!

11/25/23: Zhusa at the little whelp[s daycare. Annoying quest until I read wowhead comments and installed a weakaura, then I got gold first try.

I'm working on pets again and one of the things that I need to do is get a Friendsurge Defenders toy from Dreamsurges so as to use it in the emerald dream and spawn a pet to capture. So now I'm doing a dreamsurge.

I did that, then picked up [Of the Tyr's Guard]!

11/27/23: Pet battles. I picked up Snaggletoof this morning after farming it today and yesterday.

I'm aiming to hit 1600 pets as my next major milestone. To get there, I need to do all of the other pet achievements that award a pet. Some of them are very boring farming tasks where I have to kill critters over and over again until the pet I want spawns.

11/29/23: [The Emerald Bounty]! I also got [The Viridian Weave]] yesterday!

I also worked on getting the five timewalking sungeons done for the week, both for the reward and for contribution to the achievement. Or maybe Turbulent Timeways isn't active any more and I can't do this? Turns out that's what the issue is. Still, I got some nice 463 ilevel hands. :)

Also picked up [Ancient Stones of Zaralek]!

Remember to Share (300 Toys)!

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. On top of that, the distance indicator shows when you are in the correct range from your ...

Beta update - best achievement EVER!

It probably won't make it to live. But check out this feat of strength from the beta:

A Song of Wind and Water

I've been working on Oracles and Ogri'la rep every day and have about four days to go. One thing I've noticed about these older daily quests is that there is little provision for high-level players that one-shot everything. Two quests in particular stand out as being annoying until you learn the high-level trick. The first is Banish More Demons in Blade's Edge. This involves placing a portal on the ground then killing demons within a few feet of the portal. The portal has a one-minute cooldown and you need fifteen demons. It was a slow exercise in frustration because kiting further-away demons was difficult sue to all my abilities one-shotting them before they got near. In the end, I learned to use the Shaman's "Purge" ability to aggro mobs without killing them and pull them close to the portal. The second, and more annoying, quest that isn't scaled for high-level players is the Ogri-la's Song of Wind and Water .  This involves weakening ...
