[3,209 of 4,917] 28,000 points and a bunch of profession achievements

 11/30/23: I picked up [Emerald Dream Glyph Hunter] yesterday. Today I'm working on building a Timewalking set to make the mage tower achievements easier.


12/22/23: I decided to do something completely different and worked on the Furbold language achievement instead. It's a simple grind, taking about half an hour to complete - just kill Scouts and Guardians that spawn regularly and they almost always drop a lot of artifacts. Having to click the NPC questgiver 400 times was a bit annoying though. [Winterpelt Conversationalist]!

I also did the Furbolg quests and got Exalted with the Winterpelt! This led me to picking up the last recipe I needed for [Showoff Chef]!

I also did the monthly Trading Post, picking up a new pet in the process.

Greatfather Winter gave me Festive Trans-Dimensional Bird Whistle!

Next up, I found the elusive Recipe Rat and worked on the cooking achievement to get his recipe and feed fifty rats. It's more involved than it sounds but it rewards a pet. Info here: https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=17736/the-gift-of-cheese#comments I found that the best spot to farm rats is Shattrath, to the north, alternating war mode on and off. There is a cluster of ten or so rats there, making the achievement pretty simple. [The Gift of Cheese]! Oh, don't forget to summon Roland once you get him - he teaches two recipes if you don't have them.

With that, I'm 100% complete with Cooking achievements. On to some other profession stuff!


Next up, I went to work on the Enchanting achievements. The first one I need to do needs the Spectral Visage toy. I don't have it, which is weird because I have almost 550 toys, so I need to go to Arathi Highlands to find it. The coordinates on wowhead are only for Alliance but I found the Horde version and got the toy on my first attempt!

It turns out I needed to learn how to make the Scepter of Spectacle: Order and so had to turn in some Dragon Shards to get the Knowledge to do so. [Spectre of Spectacles]!


[Shattered Expectations] was next. Kind of easy but I needed two more enchanting knowledge and so had to go do a quest first.


I then set up AFK enchanting for an hour after buying 8000 Strange Dust to get [Enchantment I] [Enchantment II] [Enchantment III] [Enchantment IV]!

 

Next, I AFK crafted 4000 Solid Stone into Blasting Powder for [Dangerous Devices I] [Dangerous Devices II] [Dangerous Devices III] [Dangerous Devices IV]!


 [The Ub3r Spanner] was next - nice and easy :)

 

12/24/23: The other engineering profession achievements are a good bit harder than the enchanting ones. One of them looks like I need to craft forty different goggles, another is reaching level 20 of the Blingtron game and another is using the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor a bunch. I picked up [Chromatic Calibration: Ectoplasmic Specs] but my ADHD won't let me gather the mats for forty different goggles for some of the others right now.

12/27/23: Taking a break for a bit. I went to Nazjatar to work on some achievements and just got disgusted at how many of them were "kill this one thing for hours and hope a rare spawns". No skill just a huge timesink. My ADHD refuses to let me do boring stuff like this over and over again so after about an hour of killing critters waiting for a pet to spawn, I was done.

 8/7/23: I picked up the Duskytooth Snooter by repeatedly resetting the Mechagon instance 18 times until it spawned! Next I did some more Little Scales Daycare quests and picked up two more pets from it. 1464 total now. Now to use my Ultrasafe Transporter and head back to Mechagon to get the last two pets I need. The first of which, Specimen 97, looks like it should be easy enough to catch as it's supposed to be unique but always up. The last one I needed was Yellow Junkhopper. I took the advice on wowhead and made a macro to target it, then repeatedly exited and re-entered the Mechagon instance in order to eventually have one pop up. I think I did this thirteen times or so before it worked (lockout is at 10, so it took an extra hour) and now I finally have [Mecha-Safari]!  I went after the Shadowlands pets next.  8/12/23: I finished three more Dragon Isles pet world quests for [Battle on the Dragon Isles II] - just one more to go! Next up, I have a whole bunch of trainers to do to get [An Awfully Big Adventure] - I'm going to start on this now but I have 20 more to do to get Trunks. 8/13/23: Mote Little Scales Daycare to start the day off. I'm nearing the end now - just one more whelp to go. 8/14/23: I finished all the Little Scales Daycare quests and now have [Hey Nanny, Nanny]]! 8/20/23: [Daycare Derby]! Good start to the day. 8/28/23: I started the day by doing the snail daily - just two more to go! Next, I worked on Lomen Niffen rep, trying to get 1500 for the weekly. 8/29/23: Logged in quickly before reset. I did a snail daily (one more to go!) and then defeated Adinakon in a pet battle to pick up [Battle on the Dragon Isles II]! 9/2/23: I worked on the 1500 Loamen Niffen rep for the weekly. [3,115 of 4,646] A whole lot of random.

 7/21/23: I started the day with some quests from the dragon hatchery and for Chromie. The Chromie one was fun - she turned me into a quest giver and had me hand out quests. After that, I did the Tempo quests near Chromie and picked up a cosmetic shades in the process. Next, I worked on the Daycare questline. I now have to wait until tomorrow before continuing. lAfter that, I worked on Loamen Niffen rep to get the 1500 for the weekly. The first quest I did however was for a 405 bracer that I upgraded to 411. (afternoon) I just learned that I can buy Vault keys for 50 Dragonscale Supplies each! [Every Door, Everywhere, All at Once] is mine! I also picked up An Odd Round Object, which is an item I needed to continue the "story" questline from Voraxian (this is an achievement I was working on a few days ago). 7/22/23: I noticed that Old Hatreds' mob was no longer evade bugged and so finally finished that questline, getting [A New Beginning]!
