10 More achievements and a lot of minor things

I busted out another 10 achievements yesterday. I leveled cooking to 325 to get the Gingerbread Cookie recipe for Treats For Greatfather Winter.

I did all the Argent Tournament dailies and in the process, fished from my first node for The Old Gnome and the Sea.

I ran a quick heroic at the behest of some guildies and picked up Don't Look Up. I also picked up Haunted Herring recipe which is part of a couple of achievments. I also picked up a solid MH fist for my enhance set.

My stuff finally arrived in the mail, so I did A Frosty Shake in Dalaran.

I did the fishing and cooking dailies in Shattrath, getting my fishing up to 245. My reward was Fish Don't Leave Footprints from a Weatherbeaten Journal. Tracking fish is eessential to many other fishing achievements so I'm glad I got this one.

I dinged exalted with Warsong Offensive while doing dailies.

I did a wintergrasp. We were on offense so after completing the weekly quests, I focused on trying to get kills in the less populated areas for Wintergrasp Ranger.

I followed this up with a 25 man Vault of Archaron althought I failed to get anything good then I ground my cooking to 350 and got Grand master Cook. Then I did the dalaran cooking daily (very easy) and got my first Dalaran Cooking Award.

I also picked up two new recipes from doing the cooking/fishing dailies this morning: Captain Rumsey's Lager and Skullfish Soup. I got the achievement for the lager.

I picked up the Kungaloosh recipe from Washed Up Mage and got Short Order Cook from this.

I also drank 25 different beverages for It's Happy Hour Somewhere.

I've been reading about the fishing achievements some more - it looks like the STV fishing tournament is going to be a huge pain in the ass to accomplish. I only have 51 attempts to get it this year and I'm sure I'll miss a few Sundays here and there. I'm going to use This Strategy as well as having a number of guild members help me out by killing allies and blocking bobbers. I'm on a PVP server so it's probably the only way to win.

This one has taken a while. I finally picked up 300 toys (and thus the mount for the achievement) after starting to seriously work on my Archaeology achievements for the first time. I've been doing the fortnightly Legion archaeology quests for a while (and thus had 800 skill) but I completely ignored this profession in earlier expansions as it seemed seriously boring. With some knowledge and a good addon, it's much better however. Some tips if you're just starting to work on archaeology: 1. Download the "Archy" addon. This addon does several things: first, it shows you the location and completion status of all digsites in the current continent. Second, it automatically sets the closes one as a waypoint for TomTom. Third, it indicates when it's possible to solve an artifact with and without a keystone, so you don't have to constantly check your archaeology screen. 8/12/23: I finished three more Dragon Isles pet world quests for [Battle on the Dragon Isles II] - just one more to go! Next up, I have a whole bunch of trainers to do to get [An Awfully Big Adventure] - I'm going to start on this now but I have 20 more to do to get Trunks. 8/13/23: Mote Little Scales Daycare to start the day off. I'm nearing the end now - just one more whelp to go. 8/14/23: I finished all the Little Scales Daycare quests and now have [Hey Nanny, Nanny]]! 8/20/23: [Daycare Derby]! Good start to the day. 8/28/23: I started the day by doing the snail daily - just two more to go! Next, I worked on Lomen Niffen rep, trying to get 1500 for the weekly. 8/29/23: Logged in quickly before reset. I did a snail daily (one more to go!) and then defeated Adinakon in a pet battle to pick up [Battle on the Dragon Isles II]! 9/2/23: I worked on the 1500 Loamen Niffen rep for the weekly. It took a surprising number of world quests to get there. 9/3/23: I worked on Secrets of A

7/21/23: I started the day with some quests from the dragon hatchery and for Chromie. The Chromie one was fun - she turned me into a quest giver and had me hand out quests. After that, I did the Tempo quests near Chromie and picked up a cosmetic shades in the process. Next, I worked on the Daycare questline. I now have to wait until tomorrow before continuing. lAfter that, I worked on Loamen Niffen rep to get the 1500 for the weekly. The first quest I did however was for a 405 bracer that I upgraded to 411. (afternoon) I just learned that I can buy Vault keys for 50 Dragonscale Supplies each! [Every Door, Everywhere, All at Once] is mine! I also picked up An Odd Round Object, which is an item I needed to continue the "story" questline from Voraxian (this is an achievement I was working on a few days ago). 7/22/23: I noticed that Old Hatreds' mob was no longer evade bugged and so finally finished that questline, getting [A New Beginning]!
