143/143 World Event achievements complete!

I am finally, after well over a year, finished with all of the world event achievements. The Mask Task has gone from being a horrible, horrible grind to something that was fun to finish up. Don't forget about the 150 token pet that you can buy for your pet achievement! This Hallow's End should see you pick up two more pets for your 150 pets achievement.

The Burning Crusader

20 measly achievement points for getting 5 grindy reps to exalted. It doesn't really seem worth it :) All 5 are a grind and I suggest getting a friend or three to power through all the heroics. My biggest complaint was KoT where, aside from two dungeon quests, all the rep needs to come from a pair of very slow dungeons, neither of which can be mass-pulled. Having the signet ring of the kirin tor achievement from earlier made this a little easier - port to Dalaran and then port to Tanaris from there.  I'm glad these are over with. In other news, I've started doing the Molten Front quests and achievements in earnest as well as finishing up my cooking - I need 6 more recipes for the 200 total. Flying to TB every day to check the daily is tiresome too :) Finally, I've started grinding archaeology. Not much to say here, you all know how long it takes. Blah.

25 Man Heroic Lich King

Doing heroic LK in 25 man is still somewhat difficult. The DPS portions are, obviously, much easier, but coordinating 25 people to handle Valkyr and Defiles is still complex. We probably took 2 hours to down this boss after loading a save from the week before. My only suggestions are to ensure that you agressively kick PUG people that can't move from defile/ shadowtrap and make sure that everyone is clear which Valkyr to target for stuns/ where to run for the Necrotic Plague. Finally, make sure you have DBM set to include the old bossmods like this one. I should be doing 10-man heroic LK a week from now. For now, I am completely ignoring the new raids due to having a small child to take care of (the reason that I haven't posted in months. Fortunately, it looks like even at one month old, he knows what life's priorities are:
